Dr. Daniel Loya is a Scholar in Residence in the Department of Chemistry and in our group. Dr. Loya harvests the power of non-covalent interactions for the design of polymers and improved pharmaceutical solids. He obtained his PhD from Texas Tech University with Dr. Kristin Hutchins, and was s postdoctoral scholar in Cornell University with Brett Fors.
